Ricky and the Redstreaks will mosey into the Circus Circus Reno Cabaret, June 18 – 26, just in time to celebrate the annual Reno Rodeo!
Rowdy cowboy Ricky-John Jackman, who’s earned his spurs as an “entertainment legend on the pro-rodeo circuit,” is back with his group of good ol’ boys and a show that promises “solid rock, a sprinkle of country and questionable comedy accompanied by a borderline frightful experience.”
Jackman and his original wacky bunch of sidekicks were discovered at Cheyenne, Wyoming’s Frontier Days Rodeo more than three decades ago in 1975, when the Redstreaks turned a gig at the Hitchin’ Post, a small lounge that was the favorite of rodeo folks, into a wild party with hundreds of people crowding in to see the group that would eventually gain cult status.
You can catch their current show in Circus Circus Reno’s Casino Cabaret for no cover charge and just a one-drink minimum. Shows on Friday and Saturday run from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
