Twilight "Fan-tasy!"

Circus Circus Reno, along with Wild 102.9, Magic 95.5, KBUL 98.1, and Barnes and Noble invite you to bring on your best Twilight sparkle at the Twilight Fan-Tasy event on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 6 p.m. (twilight) – 9 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m. to allow time for teams to sign up for the contests that begin at 6 p.m.
Held in the Mandalay Ballroom this free event will be a fun gathering for fans of the Twilight saga. Everyone will have a chance to win more than $8,000 in fantastic prizes like tickets and snacks for an exclusive NEW MOON Midnight Premiere! You can also win Twilight swag, dining certificates, midway plays, and the first 250 people through the doors will receive a commemorative Twilight Fan-tasy button.
Food will be available for purchase at the Forks Café, a snack bar inside the event.
There are a few different ways to win prizes:
1) A Family Feud-style team fan competition where teams of three will compete with a single elimination format to test your Twilight saga knowledge. Prize packages will be awarded to each member on the teams winning the top three places. All teams must be signed up by 6:30 p.m. and will be awarded spots on a first come, first serve basis.
2) Reno’s Biggest Fan - each person who wishes to compete will be required to complete a Twilight trivia questionnaire. All questionnaires that have all questions answered correctly will be entered into a drawing for movie tickets and other prizes.
3) Even though entry is free, when you bring a non-perishable food item (benefiting The Food Bank of Northern Nevada) you will receive a raffle ticket for door prize drawings. You can get an additional raffle ticket per item when you bring one of the following: Tuna, Mac & Cheese, canned soup, or Peanut Butter.
Representatives from Wild, Magic and the Bull will be on hand to add to the festivities and will be bringing some additional prizes - like NEW MOON soundtracks - for guests to win.
Barnes and Noble will be set up inside the event so guests can purchase Twilight books, both in English and in Spanish, Twilight swag, and also get information on community programs, such as Reading is The Way Up and the upcoming Holiday Book Drive.
The countdown to the NEW MOON movie release is ticking away and tickets are in high demand, so come on down and join together with other ’Lighters for a fun evening and a chance to win tickets to an exclusive Midnight showing and other great prizes!
