RENO, Nev. (Oct. 23, 2017) – The Eldorado Resort Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino and Circus Circus Reno are pleased to invite their guests to spend this Thanksgiving holiday relaxed with the family... no cooking and especially no cleaning. Not only will the three properties that are at the heart of Downtown Reno be serving up everything from traditional dinners to exquisite, distinctive menus, but this year, whimsical entertainment and a reimagined Carnival Midway give travelers and locals alike a holiday weekend agenda that is not to be missed.
For a casual celebration, The Buffet at the Eldorado prepares a bountiful all-you-can-eat feast where traditionalists and gourmands will find what they’re craving. The carving station will feature classics like maple glazed ham, roasted rosemary leg of lamb and roasted prime rib of beef au jus. Guests will also find favorites like peel and eat shrimp and chilled crab legs plus tasty entrées like herb-crusted cod with tomato and olive relish, roasted pork loin with peaches and jalapeño Jus, New York steaks with brandy peppercorn sauce and the famed mushroom ravioli with porcini cream sauce. Guests will also find traditional Thanksgiving dinner trimmings like buttermilk whipped potatoes, candied sweet potatoes with marshmallows and Autumn apple sage dressing. Dessert rounds out the meal with assorted pastries, cakes and pies including pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, apple-pear-cranberry crisp, chocolate cream pie, house made gelato and bread pudding with rum sauce. Available Thanksgiving Day from 11am for $32.99 for adults, $29.99 for ONE Club Silver members and above and $14.99 for children ages ten and under at The Buffet.
An unforgettable experience awaits at Roxy, where in addition to the regular menu, a special three-course Thanksgiving dinner will be served beginning with a choice of either a arugula and radicchio salad with goat cheese dressing or wild mushroom soup. The second course is a roasted Diestel turkey with creamy mashed potatoes, haricot verts and Fall fruit stuffing. For dessert, diners will have a choice of pumpkin spiced crepes or salted caramel apple galette, all for $42 per person. Dinner is available starting at 3pm.
Chef Ivano Centemeri adds Italian flair to Thanksgiving at La Strada for $44 per person starting at 3 pm. To start, guests will choose between a chopped Fall salad with roasted butternut squash, Asian pear, cranberry and apple cider dressing or cream of butternut squash with piave cheese and amaretti cookie crumbles. For the entrée, La Strada turkey will be served two ways, as an herb-crusted turkey leg “terrine” with cranberry sauce and smashed sweet potatoes as well as a stuffed turkey breast with stuffing. Guests may also select the risotto with roasted winter vegetables, roasted breast of duck and a Pinot Noir reduction For “dolce,” or dessert, pumpkin cheesecake in a jar or pumpkin spice caramel tart.
The Brew Brothers opens its doors this Thanksgiving with a three course meal for $18.95 which includes a house garden salad, herb roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stout apple stuffing, Fall vegetable medley and choice of pumpkin, apple or pecan pie.
Millies24 will serve a Thanksgiving dinner for $19.95 which includes choice of soup of the day or house garden salad, roasted turkey with candied yams, cornbread stuffing, green beans, cranberry relish and choice of pumpkin, apple or pecan pie for dessert.
Silver Legacy Dining
At Flavors! The Buffet inside the Silver Legacy, delight your senses with an irresistible array of taste sensations and indulge your Thanksgiving appetite for variety. The salad table will include snow crab legs and chilled shrimp, roasted butternut squash, prosciutto and watercress and wild rice with smoked chicken, red flame grapes, tarragon and toasted almonds. Over at the carving station, roast breast of turkey, honey baked bone-in ham and slow-roasted prime rib are just a few of the delicious meats being served. The brunch table will see the likes of roasted breast of goose with red cabbage compote and lingonberry sauce, baked bass with braised leeks and citrus butter sauce, BBQ pork ribs with chorizo white bean stew and stuffed veal breast with root vegetable stew and truffle jus. A symphony of sweets, treats and frivolities including pastries, cakes, parfaits, fruit pies and a selection of sugar-free desserts upon request will complete the spectacular meal. Served 11am until 10pm, adults are $32.99, $29.99 for ONE Club Silver members and above and children ages ten and under will be $14.99.
A sixteen-time Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence Winner,” Sterling’s Seafood Steakhouse’s Thanksgiving feast includes a choice of a mini mushroom pillow with mushrooms baked in a crisp phyllo pastry or scallop ceviche, a holiday salad or saffron mussel bisque and a classic holiday turkey platter with fresh roasted premium turkey, sausage and herb dressing, honeyed yams, creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Dessert is a warm caramel apple brioche pudding with rum raisin ice cream, caramel sauce and crème anglaise. This complete meal begins at 3pm on Thanksgiving Day and is available for $50. Guests will have the option of adding a perfect wine pairing to this traditional meal which includes a bottle of Ferrari-Carano Anderson Valley, CA, Pinot Noir 2012 for $59 or Trefethen Riesling, Napa Valley, CA, 2013 for $39.
Pearl Oyster Bar and Café Central, which offers casual dining, an open atmosphere and qualitied cuisine will serve a prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner that covers all the tastes of tradition and begins with a choice of butternut squash bisque or seasonal field greens with toasted pumpkin seeds, carrots, jicama, blue cheese crumbles and raspberry champagne vinaigrette. The second course includes a choice of honey glazed baked ham with cranberry-pineapple compote, creamed mashed potatoes, sage apple dressing and seasonal vegetables or roasted tom turkey with creamed mashed potatoes, sage apple dressing, candied sweet potatoes, turkey giblet gravy and seasonal vegetables. For dessert, holiday spiced rum cake with pear chutney. This delicious meal will be served for $18.95 starting at 11am.
