Request made by UNR Student
WHO: Circus Circus Reno, by request of a 20-year-old University of Nevada Student
WHAT: Two hotel towers will be illuminated in blue
WHERE: On the Virginia Street and Sierra Street exteriors of Circus Circus Reno
WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 25 from sundown to sunrise
WHY: Recently, David Greenspan, a 20-year old student from the University of Nevada, reached out to Circus Circus Reno, asking if the building colors could be turned blue in honor of his girlfriend, Rachel. Rachel has had type-one diabetes for the majority of her life, and with that, a passion for spreading awareness and educating the community about diabetes. David’s kind words about his girlfriend inspired Circus Circus Reno to honor his wish and to help David show Rachel how much she inspires him.
